A mid 20th Century opal cluster ring in 18ct yellow gold, set with 11 solid Australian crystal opal cabochons, each one displaying a vibrant rainbow of colours in pink, green, blue and lavender. Easily the prettiest opal cluster ring I’ve ever seen, the colours move from pastel to powerful with the available light – indoors she’s rather demure in pale pinks and greens, but out in the sunshine she bursts into vivid rainbow colours.

Handmade in 18ct yellow gold, hallmarked 18k to the inside of the 3mm wide flat band.

Each of the solid crystal opal cabochons is held in individual pronged settings with closed backs.
The centre oval opal cabochon measures approximately 8mm x 6mm x 3.3mm.
The 10 surrounding round opal cabochons have a diameter of approximately 2.8mm each.
The face of the ring measures 14.08mm x 11.7mm.
Sits 7.85mm high on the finger.
