This elegant vintage enamelled white rose charm, circa 1960s, is the heraldic badge for the ancient House of York and Yorkshire, adopted in the 1300s. In modern times it is used more broadly as a symbol of Yorkshire and appears in the flag of Yorkshire.

Manufacture: 
Modeled in 9ct gold with white and green enamel, hallmarked 9ct to the reverse.

The charm measures 14.78mm (not including the bail) x 13.52mm x 1.36mm.
Weighs 1.26 grams.

The bail is pushed closed, but not soldered.

Condition:

Excellent, not chips to the enamel or other faults to note.
