An elegant Edwardian Era aquamarine solitaire ring in 15ct gold, made by esteemed early Australian jewellers Dunklings of Melbourne, circa 1900. The oval cut aquamarine is clear seawater blue, with hints of green. The setting does its best to be invisible, supporting the delightful clear and shimmering stone. The pinched shoulders of the band serve to draw your eye into the refreshing blue pool of blue.

Manufacture:
Handmade in 15ct gold with early Australian hallmarks to the inside of the band which read W15D for Dunklings of Melbourne.

The oval cut aquamarine measures 9.6mm x 6.7mm x 4.8mm – approximately 1.6 carats. It has been verified by an independent gemologist as a natural aquamarine.

The aquamarine is held in a solid 15ct bezel by 6 claws. The pinched shoulders lead to a classic 2.2mm wide  half-round band.
Sits 4.86mm high on the finger.

Weighs 2.37 grams.
