Spring Showers : Vintage Pear Cut Blue Topaz Ring in 9ct Yellow Gold

♥Sold♥

Fresh and clear as a sun shower, this delectable pear cut blue topaz ring is a refreshing colour pop that will pep you up whether the forecast is for storms or sunshine. The natural mid blue topaz has an unusual step-cut faceting pattern that I’ve never seen in a pear cut gem, it gives it an unusual but very sparkly effect. The topaz is rub-over set in a simple and 9ct gold bezel, protecting it from knocks and bumps and making it an ideal choice for an every day or right hand ring. This gorgeous statement ring represents a lot of jewel for a modest price tag, which is something us gem lovers are always happy about!

Manufacture:
Modelled in 9ct yellow gold, the ring is hallmarked with the international 9ct gold standard mark 375 to the inside of the half round band. The styling is classic and timeless, however I believe this ring dates to the later 20th century, circa 1990s.

The mid blue topaz has been verified by an independent gemologist as a natural topaz. It measures 10mm x 7mm x 4.5mm – approximately 2 carats.

The ring sits 4.5mm high on the finger.
Weighs 2.03 grams.
