Description
Dating to the 1930’s this Art Deco ring has been hand made in 18ct yellow and white gold. It features a central deep blue natural sapphire, surrounded by 8 rose cut diamonds of fine quality.
The step cut rectangular natural sapphire is of a dark hue and measures 5mm x 4mm – approximately 1/2 carat. The surrounding rose cut diamonds vary in size with the largest being 3.1mm diameter, to the smallest 1.9mm diameter. The gemstones have all been verified as natural by a gemologist, who has graded the diamonds as G – I in colour and Vs-Si in clarity.
The ring is hallmarked 18ct to the inside of the band, and the metal content has been verified by XRF test.
The face of the ring measures 12.75mm north-south, 10.75mm east-west and sits 7mm high on the finger.
The band measures 2mm wide and 1.65mm thick.
The ring weighs 4.8 grams.
