Blue Gypsy : Antique Turquoise Gypsy Ring in 9ct Rose Gold

It’s classic and eclectic all at once.
A deliciously heavy and buttery smooth rose gold band with a delightful turquoise cabochon seamlessly set into its convex surface. This is a ring you’ll find comfortable and comforting to wear everyday, and would be suitable as a right hand ring for a man or a woman.

Simply hallmarked with the antique 9ct mark to the inside of the band, this ring doesn’t give away many secrets as to its age. Rings of this style have been popular throughout the ages, I believe this one dates to 1890 – 1910 but may be a little earlier.

One “sleeping beauty” round turquoise cabochon of 3.9mm has been hammer or gypsy set into the hefty 9ct rose gold ring. The ring is of extremely solid construction. It has not been polished leaving its original aged patina, but can be buffed to a mirror finish upon request.

The ring measures 7.1mm wide at the face, tapering to 3.2mm at the back of the band. The ring sits 2.9mm high on the finger. It is convex all the way around and extremely comfortable to wear.
