Replete with old world charm, this five stone diamond row ring dates to the late Victorian Era, circa 1880. Modelled in 18ct yellow gold with a platinum top and set with five chunky old cut diamonds.

You can see a video of this romantic slice of times past on my Instagram account @secret_histories, or online here.

Manufacture:
Hallmarked 18ct to the inside of the band, along with an illegible makers mark. One of the highlights of this piece is the intricately carved swirls in the undercarriage that carry on down the sides of the shoulders leading to a plain half round shank.

The diamonds are old cut and graduate in size. The largest central diamond has a diameter of 3mm, the smallest side diamonds are approximately 2.5mm each. The diamonds have a combined weight of approximately .40 carats, they are bright with excellent fire and that cheeky twinkle that lovers of old cut diamonds find so endearing. They have been verified as natural by an independent gemologist.

The face of the ring measures 3.72mm x 15mm.
Sits 3.6mm high on the finger.
Weighs 2.53 grams.

Size:
L or a tight 6
resizable up to size P or 7.75
We offer a resizing service starting at $45 Australian dollars. Please get in touch for a quote.

Condition:
In good antique condition. Signs of careful wear commensurate with age and use. The prongs have been re-tipped sometime in the recent past. Subtle evidence of a past resize. Ready for immediate wear.
