M is for Magic, Magnificent, Mysterious, Mood. M is for Marmoset, Mighty, Momentous. M is the lucky 13th letter of the Latin alphabet, and the initial of many good friends of mine, and probably yours, too.
I’m very fussy about initial pendants (and fonts in general), this one is *chef’s kiss*. An expressive vintage M that is neither too hard or too soft, not frilly or fussy, but not yelly either. A nicely balanced, well formed M.
This vintage pendant is circa 1970, and fashioned in 9ct yellow gold. A small brilliant cut diamond nestles inside its own little bezel, hanging from the deep chevron in the M.

Modelled in 9ct yellow gold, embellished with a 1.5mm diameter brilliant cut diamond in a bezel setting.
The pendant is hallmarked 9ct with makers mark AB on the bail.
It measures 15.4mm including the bail, or 11.37mm without the bail x 8.45mm x 2.17mm.
