Description
Wide and whimsical, this 9ct yellow gold ring circa 1960’s features tiny blue sapphires and brilliant cut diamonds set in groups of three with a repeating flowing pattern reminiscent of leaves and vines. The gemstones and engraved detail continue all the way around the ring.
The gemstones are approximately 1.5mm in diameter each. There are a total of 4 diamonds and eight deep blue sapphires. The diamonds have been verified as natural by an independent gemologist. We had trouble with a conclusive diagnostic on the sapphires because they are so small. I’m assuming they are synthetic because of their deeply saturated colour – rare in natural gemstones of this size.
The band is 6.3mm wide, 0.81mm thick.
Weighs 2.8 grams.
Hallmarked 9c to the inside of the band, along with makers mark MK & Co. and a catalogue number. Most likely Australian Made.
Size L1/2 or 6 on the mandrel, but will fit approximately a half size smaller due to the width of the band. Best suited to a side L or 5.5 finger.
Not resizable.
