Even a little bit of Australian opal magic goes a very long way. This vintage ring features a pear shaped solid Australian crystal opal containing a complete rainbow of mermaid hues, from pink through green, purple and blue. Two small brilliant cut diamonds twinkle at the shoulders for a little extra sparkle.

Circa 1990s, the secure bezel setting and low profile make this a marvellous everyday ring.

Manufacture: 
Cast in 14ct yellow gold, the opal cabochon is securely bezel set and open at the back. Two brilliant cut diamonds are held in tension settings at the shoulders. Hallmarked 14k to the inside of the band.
Weighs 1.58 grams.

The solid Australian crystal opal measures approximately 8.85mm x 6.3mm. The accent diamonds have a diameter of 1.85mm.

The face of the ring measures 9.97mm x 12.25mm.
The band tapers from 2mm wide at the shoulders to 1.3mm at the back of the band
Sits 3.2mm high on the finger.

Condition: 
In good vintage condition. The opal has been professionally resurfaced and has no chips or scratches. The band is slightly out of round and has some minor thinning to the back of the band, but is still in good, wearable condition. All settings have been checked and tightened where necessary. Ready for immediate and everyday wear.
