Mystery Man : Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold Wedding Band with Engraved Dedication

So many questions. This classic vintage half-round wedding band in 18ct yellow gold has an engraving on the inside of the band that reads Helmut Teller, April 25. Who was this mystery man, and what was the significance of this date? Did something special happen to Helmut on Anzac Day, or was it April 1925 that was particularly important?

This sturdy classic band has an appealing weight and the benefit of a fine patina won over years of wear, giving the gold a lovely glow.

Manufacture:
Hallmarked 750 with a makers mark of an N inside a heart pierced with an arrow. The engraving on the inside of the band reads “Helmut Teller, April 25”.

The band is 3mm wide and 1.45mm thick.
