An incredibly detailed solid 9ct gold charm depicting Queen Elizabeth II riding sidesaddle and saluting, as she has been seen in the Trooping The Colour – an annual parade held to mark the Queen’s official birthday. For many years the Queen used to ride on horseback during the parade, but in more recent years has attended in a carriage.
This fine charm is made in solid 9ct gold with the Queen picked out in enamel. You can see her parade uniform including red blazer and blue Order of the Garter sash. The charm is hallmarked for London 1979, which would have been Her Majesty’s 53rd birthday celebration. At this event she rode her black mare, named Burmese.
The charm measures 19.87mm x 20.09mm x 3.65mm, not including the jump ring. It weighs 2.2 grams.
In lovely vintage condition with some wear to the enamel as seen in the product photos. Ready for your chain or charm bracelet – please note that the jump ring is not soldered closed.
