Description
A classically elegant ring from the 1st World War Period. This little ring is here to remind us that there are always reasons to celebrate.
A beautifully cut old cut diamond of approximately 3mm or 11 points is belcher (some might say buttercup) set into an 18ct gold ring with full English Hallmarks for Chester, 1915. The eight prongs hold the small but bright and beautifully hand cut diamond securely around the girdle of the stone, allowing light to reach each and every facet. For a modest sized diamond she’s awfully powerful.
The face of the ring is 7.05mm wide, it sits 3.7mm high on the finger. The band tapers from 4.25mm at the shoulders to 2.45mm at the back of the band for a comfort fit.
Weighs 2.9 grams.
Size N or 6.75
somewhat resizable
Professionally polished with all prongs newly re-tipped she’s ready for another 100+ years of everyday wear.
