Vine & Berry : Vintage 9ct Wide Gold Band with Sapphires and Diamonds

♥Sold♥

Wide and whimsical, this 9ct yellow gold ring circa 1960’s features tiny blue sapphires and brilliant cut diamonds set in groups of three with a repeating flowing pattern reminiscent of leaves, vines and gemstone berries. The gemstones and engraved detail continue all the way around the ring.

Manufacture:
Made in solid 9ct yellow gold with engraved details and grain set gemstones all the way around the ring.

The band is 6.3mm wide, 0.81mm thick.
Weighs 2.8 grams.

Hallmarked 9c to the inside of the band, along with makers mark MK & Co. and a catalogue number. Most likely Australian Made.

The gemstones are approximately 1.5mm in diameter each.
There are a total of 4 brilliant cut diamonds and eight deep blue sapphires. The diamonds have been verified as natural by an independent gemologist. We had trouble with a conclusive diagnostic on the sapphires because they are so small. I’m assuming they are synthetic because of their deeply saturated colour – rare in natural gemstones of this size.

Size L1/2 or 6 on the mandrel, but will fit approximately a half size smaller due to the width of the band. Best suited to a side L or 5.5 finger.
Not resizable.

Condition:
In excellent vintage condition, ready for immediate and everyday wear.
