Description
One of the finest examples of Art Deco half eternity rings I’ve had the pleasure to offer. This band was made circa 1930 by Australian jewellery firm Willis and Sons of Melbourne. The Willis family hallmark is the unicorn, and the diamond studded twist pattern on the face of the ring reminds me of a unicorn’s magical horn.
Made in 18ct yellow gold with a platinum top, the ring features fine milgrain details and engraved details to the sides, shoulders and all the way around the band.
Weighs 2 grams.
The seven single cut diamonds measure 2mm in diameter each, bringing the total diamond carat weight to 0.21 carat. They have been graded as F-G in colour, Si in clarity.
