Description
This gorgeous ring dates to the Belle Époque era – approximately 1910. It is transitional Edwardian/Art Deco in style.
The dome is solid platinum inset with seven fine white diamonds.
The diamonds are all grain set into the ring and are all original to the ring. They range in colour from F-H, they are all beautiful and clear to the naked eye, but inclusions can be seen under magnification. Six of the diamonds are old cut, one is single cut.
The centre old cut stone is 3.5mm in diameter and approximately 16 points. Each of the smaller diamonds measures 2 – 2.5mm, approximately 5 points each. The combined carat weight of the diamonds is approximately 46 points – nearly 1/2 carat.
Accompanied by two beautiful robins egg blue oval turquoise cabochons measuring 4mm x 2.6mm and securely bezel set.
The band and undercarriage test as 12ct yellow gold.
