This ring is not only beautiful but also practical and would make an ideal engagement ring for worry free everyday wear.

Manufacture:
Dating to the 1930’s this Art Deco ring has been hand made in 18ct yellow and white gold. It features a central deep blue natural sapphire, surrounded by 8 rose cut diamonds of fine quality.

The step cut rectangular natural sapphire is of a dark hue and measures 5mm x 4mm – approximately 1/2 carat. The surrounding rose cut diamonds vary in size with the largest being 3.1mm diameter, to the smallest 1.9mm diameter. The gemstones have all been verified as natural by a gemologist, who has graded the diamonds as G – I in colour and Vs-Si in clarity.

The ring is modelled in 18ct yellow gold with a white gold top. The sapphire is bezel set and sits slightly proud of the face of the ring. The rose cut diamonds have been bead set in white gold and are surrounded by milgrain details. The undercarriage has been hand pierced into an elegant geometric pattern, allowing light to reach the underside of the stones for maximum sparkle. The ring is hallmarked 18ct to the inside of the band, and the metal content has been verified by XRF test.

The face of the ring measures 12.75mm north-south, 10.75mm east-west and sits 7mm high on the finger.
The band measures 2mm wide and 1.65mm thick.
The ring weighs 4.8 grams.
