A delightful romantic puffy heart pendant made by early Australian jewellers Willis and Sons circa 1904 – 1920.
Made in 15ct gold, the front of the heart features a curving ribbon that could be engraved, with sprigs of foliage on either side.
The back of the heart is smooth and plain, except for the hallmarks which are an almost invisible unicorn, 15 and W for Willis and Sons of Melbourne.
This puffy heart pendant measures 21.7mm (not including the 5mm bail) x 17.5mm x 7.3mm. Weighs 1.6 grams.
The pendant is hollow in construction but made to last. There are no dents or scratches or any flaws to note.
