Safe Harbour : Victorian Era 15ct Gold Anchor Pendant / Brooch with Seed Pearls

♥Sold♥

A symbol of hope since Victorian times (at least) the anchor reminds us of safe harbour, joyful reunion, and being grounded.

This Victorian Era 15ct piece is both pendant and brooch. Deliciously detailed with twisted golden rope coiling around the piece with a fluid drape, and seed pearl accents along the top bar and anchor point.

Manufacture:
Made of 15ct gold, and stamped 15 to the reverse. Accented with seed pearls. The pin is steel.
Originally a brooch, I added a bail through the loop at the top and shortened the pin a little so that it could comfortably double as both a pendant and a brooch, making it versatile and infinitely wearable.

Measures 34.1mm (not including the bail) x 15.54mm x 7.33mm.
Weighs 3 grams.

Condition:
Some gentle signs of wear commensurate with age and use. It looks like someone made a scratch to the reverse in the past, possibly for acid testing. The hinge and c-clasp work perfectly with good tension. No signs of repairs.

Ready for immediate and everyday wear. To prolong the life of the pearls please remove before bathing or swimming.

***please note this listing is for the pendant only, chains pictured are for styling purposes only and are not included.
