Raspberry Burst : Vintage Rhodolite Garnet Solitaire Ring in 9ct

♥Sold♥

A delicious berry coloured garnet solitaire ring, circa 1950s – 1970s in 9ct yellow gold. This classic solitaire holds an oval cut garnet in a four prong basket setting with unusual shoulder flourishes.

The hot pink natural gemstone is the star of this striking minimalist ring. It can stand alone, or will stack really well with other bands – the clever basket setting allowing for other rings to sit snugly underneath.

Manufacture:
Modelled in 9ct yellow gold in an unusual, sleek and minimalist style. I have to admit dating 20th Century rings is not my strongest suit. The square profile band I usually associate with the 1950’s through 1970’s and the 9ct hallmark also fits that period.

The natural rhodolite garnet measures 8.16mm x 6.08mm – approximately 1.3 carats. It has been certified as natural by an independent gemologist. The band is 2.83mm wide all the way around, and 0.85mm thick. The ring sits 5.6mm high on the finger and weighs 2 grams.

Hallmarked to the inside of the band with the 20th Century 9ct hallmark.

Size J1/2 or 5.25
fully resizable

Condition:
In outstanding vintage condition. The garnet is free from chips or scratched and the setting shows very little signs of wear. Ready for immediate and everyday wear.
