Power Punch : Midcentury Blue Sapphire “Tank” Ring with Single Cut Diamonds

Sleek midcentury styling meets the power punch of 1940’s tank rings in this highly unusual ring circa 1960’s. A deep blue Australian sapphire baguette is held in a suspension setting above a bed of single cut diamonds in white gold. This two tone band is made in buttery 18ct gold with a white gold top to set off the sparkle of the diamonds and the depth of the sapphire.

Manufacture:
Made in buttery 18ct gellow gold with a white gold top. Hallmarked 18ct to the inside of the band.

The sapphire has been verified as natural by an independent gemologist, who was also able to identify the stones as being Australian in origin. It measures approximately 4.6mm x 9.1mm with a carat weight of 1.15 ctw. The sapphire faces up as a deep electric blue.

28 single cut diamonds have been set into the concave white gold surface of the ring.

The face of the ring measures 8.36mm x 14.18mm.
Sits 5.34mm high on the finger.
