A slim crescent moon, studded with turquoise and seed pearls. Crescent moon brooches were particularly popular as gifts between lovers during the early years of the 20th Century (although the crescent moon has appeared as a jewellery motif for time immemorial). This sweet new moon features alternating seed pearls and turquoise cabochons.

This delightful brooch is modelled in 9ct gold and has a full set of English hallmarks for Chester 1912.

Measures 45mm x 9.85mm x 2.2mm (not including the pin). Weighs 1.5 grams.
