Midnight in Paris : Art Deco Old Cut Diamond Four Stone Row Ring in 18ct & Platinum

♥Sold♥

An original treasure from a more glamorous time, Art Deco diamond rings are always popular but becoming increasingly hard to find. Reproductions abound but there’s nothing like the workmanship in the real thing ✨  This stunning example circa 1920’s is in a most unusual configuration of four diamonds.

This particular ring is in immaculate original condition with only the most gentle signs of wear. A chic time capsule with a medley of old cut diamonds in a platinum topped 18ct gold setting.

Manufacture:
Handmade in 18ct gold with a platinum top and shoulders, hallmarked 18ct and Plat to the inside of the band. Each of the four old cut diamonds is bead set in individual square shaped settings with milgrain edging. The decorative shoulders taper to a half round yellow gold band.

The diamonds have been verified and graded by an independent gemologist whilst set. They are all old cut diamonds, deliciously wonky and full of personality, as had cut gemstones often are. The diamonds have been graded as ranging from J-M, the side stones being more tinted than the two centre stones. The centre stones measure 3.8mm in diameter, approximately 13 points each. The side stones are 2.8mm in diameter, approximately 9 points each.
The total diamond carat weigh is .44 carat – close to one half carat.

The face of the ring is 4mm wide.
It sits 4.2mm high on the finger.
Weighs 3.3 grams

Size O1/2 or 7.5
somewhat resizable by your local bench jeweller.

Condition:
In outstanding original condition, this ring has only seen the most gentle of wear over its 100 year lifetime. Ready for immidiate and everyday wear.
