Small, but powerfully vibrant, these vintage dangle earrings are made in 9ct yellow gold with post and butterfly backs. Opal cabochons of solid Australian semi-translucent white opal are bezel set into closed back drops. The opals display an outstanding array of colour from blues and green through to orange and yellow.

The perfect everyday all-the-time earrings, these drops of sparking rainbow colours will look right at home with your weekend jeans and t-shirt or your very favourite little black dress.

Manufacture:
The two solid Australian opal cabochons are the star of these simple but arresting drop earrings. The opals are semi-translucent white opal with a full spectrum of lively pinfire that changes with the quality of light. Each cabochon measures 8.7mm x 6.9mm x 2mm (measured in the setting). They are bezel set into closed back 9ct yellow gold settings and dangle from a post and butterfly golden stud.

The earrings measure 17.65mm from the top of the stud to the bottom of the drop, they are 7mm wide and 5.4mm deep.

Weighs 2.4 grams for the pair.

Hallmarked for IBB – International Bullion Brokers with the Vienna Convention hallmark for 9ct gold, which dates this pair of earrings no earlier than 1979.
