An exquisite and powerful Victorian Era collar necklace and matching locket in sterling silver, circa 1880. The collar is made to mould to the contours of your neck and drape over your collarbones. The silver locket holds two photographs inside, it is patterned on the front and smooth on the reverse. The locket can be removed and the collar worn on its own for a different, yet still contemporary and edgy look.
The necklace and locket are both unmarked but have been XRF tested as sterling silver. The locket has brand new locket glass inside and is ready to hold your photographs or keepsakes.
The collar is 42.5cm long, including the bolt ring. It is 19.76mm wide and 4.07mm thick. It weighs 67.2 grams.
The locket is 62.5mm from the top of the bail to the bottom of the locket, it is 36.37mm wide and 12.24mm thick. It weighs 27.2 grams. The area for photographs inside the locket is approximately 39mm x 29mm. The hinge is in perfect working condition and the locket opens smoothly and closes securely. The locket is patterned to the front and smooth on the reverse.
