Everlasting Garland : 1940s two-tone patterned wedding band in 18ct

♥Sold♥

Dating to the 1940s this authentic vintage band looks like it has been freshly minted – there is barely any sign of wear on her at all! The ring features a floral pattern in white gold that repeats all the way around the band. The white gold section has been melded with a smooth yellow gold band which is slightly wider than the patterned white gold. The white gold floral section is proud of the yellow gold by a millimetre or so.

The ring is hallmarked 18ct Elite to the inside of the band, along with a makers mark of a star with the letter G inside. Additionally the ring is marked Pat App – which I assume is for Patent Applied, I wonder if they were successful in their application!? I recognise this maker as an Australian manufacturing jeweller from the 20th Century as I have seen quite a few of their top quality pieces ( there’s a lovely larger sized faceted band with the same hallmark available in my shop here).

The ring is 3mm wide, 1.2mm thick and weighs 2.4 grams

Sized P1/2 or 8 and not resizable due to the pattern.
