Description
Delicate in appearance but exceptionally practical and hardwearing, this two tone ring is made in palladium topped 18ct gold, with seven top quality single cut diamonds set into the detailed patterning. Made by Australian jewellers Rodd of Melbourne, this ring can be confidently dated from 1948 – 1960. The ring shows minimal, if any signs of wear.
The total carat weight of the diamonds is 0.105 carats.
The band is 2.8mm wide tapering to 2.65mm at the back of the band. The palladium covers the top half of the band, terminating at the shoulders which have been engraved with delicate swirls. The sides of the face of the ring are also engraved, but the lower half of the band has bevelled edges for a comfortable fit.
The ring sits 1.35mm high on the finger. Weighs 1.9 grams
