Classic Cluster : Midcentury Diamond Cluster Ring in 18ct Gold

♥Sold♥

A delightful cluster of natural diamonds in a timeless handmade two-tone setting dating to the middle of the 20th Century, circa 1940/60s. Cluster rings have been a timeless addition to every diamond lovers collection for as long as people have been wearing diamonds (that’s a long time!) All the sparkle of one enormous diamond, but without the frightening price tag.

Super sweet and sparkly, you’ll never want to take it off.

Manufacture:
Handmade in two tone 18ct white and yellow gold, the setting and shoulders are white gold with the half-round band in yellow. The gallery features hand cut details to allow light to penetrate all of the diamonds for a brilliant sparkle, but the setting is low as was the preference for everyday rings at the time. There are further details in the upswept pinched shoulders – a really sweet point of difference. The band has a worn 18ct hallmark to the inside and has been XRF tested to confirm.

The diamonds have all been certified as natural by an independent gemologist. The centre stone is  an early brilliant cut with a Si2 clarity and J-L colour. The eight surrounding diamonds are single cut, all with Vs-Si clarity. The ring has a combined carat weight of 20 points (0.2 carats).

The face of the ring measures 7.22mm in diameter. It sits 4.3mm high on the finger. Weighs 1.9 grams.

Condition:
In lovely vintage condition with signs of wear commensurate with age. Ready for immediate and everyday wear.
