Classic Art Deco Diamond Half Eternity Ring in Platinum and 18ct by Catanachs

♥Sold♥

An especially lovely example of 1930’s Art Deco elegance. Handmade by Australian jewellers Catanach’s (who are still trading on High Street, Armidale – a fifth generation family affair) this stunning half eternity ring in platinum topped 18ct white gold is guaranteed to please. Indeed, the entire time I was writing this listing I kept asking myself why on earth I was letting it go – and I think perhaps I have rocks in my head.

10 sparkling white single cut diamonds are bead set in platinum into the face of the ring, with painstaking milgrain detail that remains in perfect condition surrounding each stone. The diamonds are approximately 2 points each, graded by a gemologist as VVS – VS in clarity and G-H in colour, with a combined 20 points carat weight ( .2 of a carat).

The sides of the ring feature beautiful scrolling engraving which has been softened through love and wear. Lovely vintage hallmarks hailing this ring’s pedigree hide inside the band.

The ring is 2.2mm wide at the front, tapering to 1.1mm at the back of the band.
It weighs 2.1grams

Currently size M or 6.25
