Description
Highly desirable turquoise pave earrings dating to the Victorian Era, set in 9ct gold. Each earring consists of two domes or half-spheres, the larger one dangling beneath the other. The turquoise cabochons vary in size, each is individually held by slender gold prongs into a dome of gold. The ear wires include safety hooks to keep the earrings secure.
No hallmarks are present, but the metal XRF tests as 9ct gold.
The earrings have a drop of 27.3mm.
The smaller dome has a diameter of 7.36mm and is 4.84mm deep.
The larger dome has a diameter of 10.9mm and is 5.64mm deep.
